A spacious double room with polished antique furniture and family portraits on the walls. The silk curtains were woven especially for the room. There is a West facing window with views of the front garden and the church. A selection of interesting books, a television and electric blankets are provided. There is a good-sized ensuite bathroom with large window and Jacuzzi bath.
This is a twin room with South views of the garden and the landscape beyond. Furnished in traditional style with attractive French embroidered curtains and a number of pretty watercolours on the walls. Interesting books, a television and electric blankets are provided. There is a private bathroom (not en suite) nearby with window seat and views of the garden and across to the River Witham. This also has a large Jacuzzi bath.
Guests may sit in this room with its magnificent open fireplace and three large comfortable sofas. There are a number of interesting books and magazines to read. Afternoon tea with homemade cake available by prior arrangement when booking.
Breakfast is served in the Red Dining Room which has an open fire (lit in chilly weather!) and a fine collection of John Piper's watercolours and prints on the walls. The food is all locally sourced. Picnic lunches can be provided at an extra charge.
There are large gardens which you are free to enjoy and walk down to the River Witham where you may find some fish - if you are a keen fisherman, please bring your rod!
